Dawn Robertson, M.OMSc, RMT, CAT(C)
Osteopathic Manual Practitioner
Dawn is a highly experienced healthcare professional with over 25 years in clinical practice. A graduate of the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, Dawn is in good standing with both OSTCAN and the Ontario Osteopathic Association (OOA). Additionally, she is a Registered Massage Therapist, maintaining certification with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario for over 25 years.

Dawn’s love for movement was sparked early in life as she grew up as a competitive dancer. This passion laid the foundation for her career in holistic health, where she now helps others move and heal through her expertise in manual therapy and movement-based modalities.

Her professional journey began with a degree in Athletic Therapy from Sheridan Institute of Technology, where she gained experience treating sports injuries and working with various athletes and teams. However, Dawn sees herself as a generalist, specializing in treating the body as a whole. She is deeply committed to helping those with acute or chronic conditions, including autoimmune disorders, using osteopathic and movement-based approaches.

Osteopathy is a holistic form of manual therapy that emphasizes the body's structure and function. Based on the principle that the body is capable of self-healing when its systems are in balance, Dawn applies these osteopathic principles in her practice. By addressing the relationships between the musculoskeletal, nervous, and circulatory systems, she helps the body remove obstacles to healing.

As a Pilates instructor specializing in both mat and reformer techniques for the past 10 years, Dawn integrates Pilates with osteopathic principles to support overall well-being. She uses a blend of movement and manual therapy to optimize her clients' function, mobility, and health.

Outside of her clinical work, Dawn remains committed to lifelong learning and education. She regularly works out, staying active and embodying the principles she teaches, fostering a harmonious connection between movement, wellness, and healing.
