Rob Mastroddi, M.Ost, BSc, PGCert
Osteopathic Manual Practitioner
Having enjoyed playing sports from a young age, Rob witnessed and
experienced many sports injuries. It was a desire to help prevent these
injuries that led Rob to pursue a career in osteopathy. Rob’s sports
background includes playing soccer, as well as playing squash at the
International level for Luxembourg.
Prior to his osteopathic studies, Rob completed a Sport and Exercise
Science (BSc) degree from Loughborough University (England) where he
specialized in physiology, biomechanics and kinesiology. Rob went on to complete a four-year Master of Osteopathy (M.Ost) degree with distinction at the University College of Osteopathy in London (England). Following his growing passion for Osteopathy by experiencing how it can help people, Rob completed postgraduate training to become a clinical teacher.
Rob has worked in a variety of environments including private, community,
voluntary, teaching, hospital and multi-disciplinary clinics. Rob believes in
providing individualized treatment which may include Kinesio Taping, a
variety of soft tissue techniques, joint articulation techniques, visceral and
cranial treatment. He also provides advice regarding rehabilitation,
exercises, education and self-management.
Rob remains registered with the General Osteopathic Council in the UK
and is a member in good standing with the Ontario Association of
Osteopathic Manual Practitioners (OAO).
