Ryan Darcy, M.OMSc
Osteopathic Manual Practitioner
Skating since he was three years old, Ryan has been actively engaged in Ice hockey from a young age. The injuries sustained personally and observed throughout his time playing is what first peaked his interest in helping others who've gone through the same.
After receiving his honors degree in Kinesiology, Ryan began his career working as a Registered Kinesiologist in a multidisciplinary clinic alongside Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Orthopedic Surgeons. After practicing for five years, Ryan felt there was more he could do for his patient’s and discovered the inherent ability of Osteopathy to return the body to a healthy and mobile state. Ryan continued his education with the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy (CAO) Master’s program as a Master of Osteopathic Manual Science M.OMSc, which requires 4 years of postgraduate study.
Ryan practices classical osteopathy, correlating a patient's symptoms back to their anatomy. His practice works to get behind the symptoms expressed so that the root cause may be identified. Through gentle manual osteopathic treatment, Ryan works to return the body to a state of symmetry, allowing the body to utilize its self-healing and self-regulating properties.

Treating patients of all activity levels – from people with disabilities to professional athletes, Ryan is very attentive to his patients’ needs and strongly believes that patient education and exercise prescription are of utmost importance for fast recovery and preventing the recurrence of injury.

Ryan is a member in good standing with the Ontario Osteopathic Association and is covered by all major insurance companies.
