What are Compression Socks?

Compression socks are more than just a cure for varicose veins and swollen ankles. Athletes in almost every sport, including gold medal Olympains, have discovered the benefits of wearing compression socks while competing and post-workout.

During competition, compression socks and calf sleeves:

  1. Staboilize leg muscles, eliminating cramps
  2. Increase blood flow and muscle oxygenation, which increases endurance
  3. Decrease chance of injury, like torn muscles & inflammation

Wearing compression socks post-workout helps flush lactic acid (an acid that naturally forms in the body during exercise) from the muscles, which means less ache and a quicker recovery. Then you're ready to get up and do it all over again!
